Terms & Conditions

1. Acceptance of Terms

By registering for the Pollination Africa Summit 2026, participants agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. These terms apply to all ticket categories, including Early Bird, Student, Standard, Farmer Group, Exhibitor, and Sponsored delegates.

2. Registration and Payment

1. All registrations must be completed through our official registration platform.
2. Payments are processed securely via our payment partner, DPO Group.
3. A registration is only confirmed once full payment is received and a confirmation email is issued.
4. The organizers reserve the right to decline any registration or cancel unpaid bookings.

3. Ticket Categories and Eligibility

1. Early Bird: Limited availability; strictly non-refundable but transferable.
2. Student Tickets: Valid student identification must be presented. Failure to provide proof of student status may result in cancellation without refund.
3. Standard Tickets: Regular registration subject to the refund timelines in Section 4.
4. Farmer Groups: Group registration subject to eligibility verification and the refund timelines in Section 4.

4. Refund and Cancellation Policy

Refunds are governed by this policy and processed via DPO Group within 14–30 working days. Original transaction fees may be deducted from the refund amount.

5. Ticket Substitutions and No-Shows

1. Substitutions: Tickets may be transferred to another person at no extra cost if requested at least 7 days before the event.
2. No-Shows: Failure to attend the event without prior notice as per the refund timelines results in a total forfeiture of the registration fee.

6. Event Changes and Cancellation

1. Modifications: The organizers reserve the right to change speakers, the schedule, or the venue (within the same city). Such changes do not entitle participants to a refund.
2. Cancellation by Organizers: If the summit is cancelled, participants will receive a full refund or a transfer to the next event date.
3. Postponement: If postponed, tickets remain valid. Participants may request a full refund within 14 days of the postponement notice.

7. Force Majeure

The organizers are not liable for delays or failure to hold the event due to circumstances beyond their control (e.g., natural disasters, government restrictions, or acts of God). In such cases, the event will be rescheduled and tickets will remain valid.

8. Participant Conduct

Professional behavior is required at all times during the event. The organizers reserve the right to remove any participant for disruptive behavior or harassment without a refund.

9. Photography and Media

By attending, participants consent to being photographed or recorded for promotional purposes. To opt out, please notify the organizers in writing before the event.

10. Data Protection

Participant data is used solely for event administration and reporting to partners in aggregated form. Personal data will not be sold to third parties.

11. Liability and Travel

Participants are responsible for their own visa applications, travel, and accommodation. The organizers are not liable for personal injury, loss of property, or travel disruptions.

12. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the United Republic of Tanzania.
